Nowadays, many physical therapy practices are part of national chains. Believe it or not, they are owned and run by corporations who have no idea of the needs of the patients. Nor do they particularly care.

Corporate administrators decide what the philosophy of care should be, not the therapist! They even give bonuses to therapists who meet their billing quotas.

But, no bonuses are ever given for how well the patients do. In other words, their focus is on corporate income, not the patients' outcome! This is similar to how an HMO's insurance administrator decides what treatments "are best for you," instead of allowing your doctor to decide.

Since Alternative HealthCare Solutions is an independently operated and community based company - who's owner lives right here in Lake County - our treatment philosophy is based on the needs of the patient.
